How do I obtain SSH access?

SSH access is available to all of our clients free of charge. By default, when you sign up, your account has SSH access enabled.

To access SSH our servers over SSH, please use an SSH client like Terminal (Mac OS X) or PuTTY (Windows).

Your SSH credentials are as follows:
IP Address / Host Name: The same as the server you are on (e.g.
Username: Your SSH Username is the same as your cPanel account username
Password: Your SSH Password is the same as your cPanel account password
Port: Use port "456" to access our servers. Port 22 is the default SSH port, and it will not work

Please note that this applies to our shared/reseller/managed hosting services. If you are running a self-managed service, your SSH port may be different.
